Description

Page for my "Practical Visitor's Guide to the Labyrinth"
Painted in Photoshop CS5, using the film as reference.
About 8 hours of work.
The Labyrinth and it's Characters are © Jim Henson
This guide however belongs to me!!!

Sorry about the copious watermarks. They aren't going anywhere. Don't ask. I am SO proud of this project so far, and would hate to see any part of this turn up somewhere else.

Please note that I don't have time to say "thank you" for every favourite, but I appreciate them all nonetheless! Thank you all for your support!!!

The Four Guards were ranking pretty high in the poll, so I decided to take a crack at 'em. I've tried painting them before, but failed to the extent that I never finished. It was nice to get these four on paper! I discovered while looking at my reference images that each pair has five hands... something I never noticed before.
Wasn't sure about including the "Solutions" part, and I don't know if any of it makes any sense to anyone besides me, but everytime I watch that movie, I wind up thinking out the solution in my head again. Let me know if you like that part, or if I should take it out and fill in the space with other information...

I decided a long time ago not to even try to solve this.
Especially as we have no way of knowing for certain whether the other door would have led to the Goblin City or CERTAIN DEATH.
All we know for sure is that one door leads to an oubliette which might count as CERTAIN DEATH, but I'm dubious.
