I'm sorry for the relatively small file size here, but I honestly couldn't be more proud of this painting! I spent forever on it, finding clear reference photos and painting all the little details. The best part? I was able to give ROBERT ENGLUND a copy of this at Fan Expo today!!! Not only that, but he seemed to genuinely like it!!! I cannot possibly explain how excited I am!!! He signed a copy for me, and thanked me for giving him one... HE thanked ME!
He was by far the nicest celebrity I've ever met. He took a few minutes to chat with everyone who got his autograph, even though there was a long line. It was the absolutely highlight of Fan Expo, and quite possibly my entire summer... or year! SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW!!!

About the Painting
I wanted to do something that showed not the two faces of Freddy Krueger, but the man behind the legendary character and the creation he has become known for. I originally planned to have the pointer finger of his glove pointing up, covering the area where the two faces meet. I did experiment with that look... but actually liked being able to see the blended area. Also ran out of time before Fan Expo... still very pleased with the outcome!!!
