Painted from scratch in Photoshop CS4, using one of my own photos as reference.

Special shoutout to *orcafreak who suggested that I try some species of bird, and ~anubis281 who said that I should try something different than my usual... both were great suggestions, thanks!
I actually had a really good time painting this! I've never really tried painting a bird, and totally just decided to "wing it" lol... I LOVE the way the eye and beak turned out! And I don't even hate the feathers
