Burnaby, young beluga whale @ Marineland
Ever since Aurek left Marineland for Sea World, I've really missed that chubby little face, and his seriously playful nature... but Burny looks and acts so much like Aurek, it's like having him back again! lol... Burny has a great personality, he is so outgoing, and interested in everything that is going on... he must be the most interactive whale I've ever met! Gotta love him
Technically, again not the best... but I LOVED the angle, and Burny's pose!!! There is something that seems so dynamic about his pose here, with the fluke in the background, and big face in the centre... really like this shot
I absolutely adore this shot. I think it's definitely one of my favourites of yours so far. The pose and the expression are absolutely gorgeous! I love those black beady eyes, Belugas are too cute
Great work!

I really look forward to seeing them all grown up! I've been watching the boys (and Maple for that matter) since they were born! I'm certain that Aurek and Maple will have a little one of their own in no time!
Burny is very small compared to the SW boys... when Maple left, he was about the same size as her (but a year younger), so I'm sure he'd be a tiny bit bigger than Maple is now. It is nice to have a huge sample for comparison
Thanks so much! I didn't even realize that I had a shot like this until I looked back through them. I'd love to take full credit for the composition, but I was just shooting away while playing with the whales Thanks again, and thank you for the too!
