The Marineland logo has irritated me for a long time... the proportions are wrong, and the cartoonish style just doesn’t do anything for me... so I made my own version! I realize that the sizes are still unrealistic, unless we’re talking a juvenile orca and an adult beluga... but I wanted that aspect to remain the same as it was in the original version.
Overall I’m really happy with the outcome, especially considering the fact that it was practically a speed painting. From deciding on this project, to executing it in full, the entire thing took about three hours! Way less than normal for me!
The background is simple on purpose, as this is meant to be a logo, not a painting.
