Hurray!!! The reason for my current state of joy and bliss... a real pair of Gremlin eyes from Gremlins 1!!! And they contain pretty significant sentimental value to boot... this, and something that came along with them, are my favourite things in my collection!!! And it's all thanks to one super kind person, who is too awesome for words  Thank you so much!!!
They were actually used in the filming of Gremlins, as the eyes of a background Gremlin! If you look, you can see that there is still some foam from the sockets! :D Yeah, I know, I'm a nerd... lol...
Sorry about the tiny file size, and the watermark... but I feel that it is more than a bit necessary. There has been a huge influx in fake Gremlins items coming up for sale recently, and the one part they consistently mess up is the eyes... so if I show too much I would be helping those seeking to defraud innocent Gremlins fans...
PS - Also sorry for the lame title ;P

Cute? lol... ok, I would have guessed that they were creepy, or strange, or cool, but I wouldn't have guessed cute! :lmao:

Ha cool did you find those on ebay. I remember a while back I ordered a lifesize gremlin replica but it was one disaster after another and eventually I just got a refund. You can still find those kits on ebay but they're not finished and I'm a crappy painter.
:iconchaotica-i:
Nope, not on eBay... although I have had some luck there before ;P
Sorry to hear about your problems with the lifesize gremlin, I quite like painting, and have thought about getting one of the model kits, but hate working with vinyl... the closest I've tried in a long time was one of the gremlin skull model kits (not an original resin one, but a plastic re-cast) which I modified to fit the eyes for a display... check it out if your really interested in Gremlins...
Here's the final display [link]
And here is how it was done [link]
