My current desktop screenshot! I just finished the background painting about 15 minutes ago... I started it Monday, but it was slow-going... took much longer than I'd planned, but I went into much more detail than I initially thought I would. I love the way the eyes came out, and the fingers... and the black fur, but hate the white fur... I hate painting white! Shading white things is such a pain in the arse, that's why it is always better to paint belugas underwater (because that way they are actually shades of blue). Also not thrilled with the Rambo headband, but decided to keep it. Decided on a Matrix sort of background so that it would look like Gizmo was breaking through computer code or something like that... added a bit of green highlighting on his head and fingers to suggest the glowing green light of the background.
Painted entirely from scratch in Photoshop CS2. Took about 15 hours... way longer than it should have!
This is so adorable! I love how you've painted the skin; and the attention to detail is amazing! Personally, I think you aced the white fur. *Also hates painting white*
Fantastic job!

Aww, thank you so much!!! I'm happy to hear that the white looks alright, it is so difficult to get right!
