 Also sorry to say that if you don't comment, I probably won't have the time to say thank you! So thanks in advance I guess! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ike, Orca @ Marineland Finally something for the orca fans eh? lol... Ike at today's 4:00 splash session... he is getting so big! When he waved his fluke at the end of the show, I couldn't get over the curve in his fluke... and his dorsal has grown quite a bit too! In no time at all, he'll be a giant... can't wait  The lighting was horrible for the show (ideal for underwater viewing, but terrible for the show...). Wish I'd have used a slightly faster shutter speed. Sadly this was the only shot worth salvaging from the splash session  At least I'm learning... |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments. I can't wait for you to meet his mom Katina and big sister Kalina. They are the absolute highest jumpers around... and judging from Nalani, she's gonna be a high jumper too. And I'm sure Mr. Ike jumps high!

I think he is satisfied! He seems to LOVE doing the shows! Last year when the trainers would do shows, they would alternate between different orcas so that none of them were doing all of the shows in a day... but Ike HATED that! He would get really upset when another whale was splashing and getting attention, so he would often put on a little show of his own to try to regain some attention! This year, he's doing the brunt of the work, and appears to be loving it
Really can't wait to see Ike's family! I've seen some amazing shots of their high-flying feats!
