This guide however belongs to me!!!
Sorry about the copious watermarks. They aren't going anywhere. Don't ask. I am SO proud of this project so far, and would hate to see any part of this turn up somewhere else.
Please note that I don't have time to say "thank you" for every favourite, but I appreciate them all nonetheless! Thank you all for your support!!!
With all the computer drama, most of the week was a write-off in terms of getting painting done. Almost all of this was painted on CS4... and everything took longer because my workflow was interrupted, and everytime I resized something, or made a significant edit, it took FOREVER to load. Thankfully, the laptop is back up and running (through what I can only describe as Herculean efforts from my awesome computer guy), and I can get back to work. Unfortunately however, the next four weeks are going to be ridiculously busy, and even more stressful... so the odds of me getting much artwork done are pretty slim. :sigh:
Anyways... as for the fly... this little creature featured in the film during the Bog of Eternal stench scene. It flitters across the screen in the course of a second or so. Even on the bluray version of the film the details are sketchy at best, so I took some liberties. I think the original bog fly only had two legs, but meh. This is my version. There was no information on it whatsoever, so everything that is there is a figment of my imagination
