Winter Walk

Lioness @ The Buffalo Zoo
Another of my favourite shots from my winter zoo visit yesterday. All three lions were sleeping on a pile of hay under the viewing window... until this lioness decided to go for a little stroll. She didn't seem to like the snow too much though... so quickly returned to the hay pile.
When she made her way back, she paused, walked right up to the window, and looked right into my eyes for several seconds... it was AMAZING!!! Too bad I had my 70-300mm lens on though, she was only about 10cm away from me, so I would have had to move several feet back to focus a photo, and I didn't want to ruin the wicked moment
